Patrick is a keen composer and studied composition intensively while at Berklee and New England Conservatory with professors including Rick Kress, Yakov Gubanov, Arnold Friedman, and Ken Schaphorst. He has written and arranged for many different types of groups and instrumentations from small and large jazz ensembles to chamber music groups and solo piano.
